Devin is incredibly gracious, intelligent and just cool. Oh…and in case it wasn’t obvious…he’s gorgeous! Devin needed some updated looks for his portfolio and I had so much fun, I pretty much forgot I was working! Here are just a few of my favorites.

For the first time in YEARS, I went to the New York State Fair…now, I used to go ALL day — every day back when I was a news reporter in Syracuse, NY. It’s been a long time. Thankfully, not much has changed. The crazy midway, free concerts and fried food extravaganza welcomed me with open arms…I, with an open mouth.

Here are some favorites!

Among the many things devoured that day….a sausage sandwich!

This little ball of cuteness is turning 1!! Jacob’s family and I met up in Central Park last weekend and I swear those big brown eyes could melt statues. When he smiles and laughs, his eyes just sparkle… when they all showed up in “Team Jacob” shirts… awesome! A few of my favorites…

Are you ready for some football?

Profiled a new head football coach today for a news story, check out my video here.
High school football is starting! Which means many more football shoots to come! The kids are great and doing this type of photography is always very enjoyable and fun…

Heaven is…a meal at Carlito’s Restaurant in Woodbury, CT.
If you are anywhere near this place, grab your significant other and eat dinner here! I stopped for lunch and it was amazing! I actually am doing a video for them and when it’s completed I’ll let you know! My mouth watered the entire time during filming. [...]

If you are anywhere near this place, grab your significant other and eat dinner here! I stopped for lunch and it was amazing! I actually am doing a video for them and when it’s completed I’ll let you know! My mouth watered the entire time during filming.  The owner is super sweet, the food — super savory.

Here is just a sampling of what I ate.  (yes, I am a pig, you can’t shame me!)

♥ Currently listening to The xx. This is an awesome band you should check out.

Went to Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT to do a story on a new wooden roller coaster that is being built! Photos, reporter Matt O’Rourke’s article, my video, here:

B & J

It’s B & J time … Nope, not Ben and Jerry’s! My OTHER favorite B and J duo…Brian and Julia! (loud applause here)
My niece and nephew kill me with cuteness.  Finally finished editing these guys after a weekend trip to see them and their adorableness (yes I make up words).

Barn

Each time I drive from NY to CT, I see this barn along the Thruway.  There is always a reason I don’t photograph it: the light isn’t right, I’m in a rush, etc… I’ve wanted to photograph it for almost a year now.  Today, no excuses…

Hell to the YES! This was given to me by a friend of mine who is into self help books as much as I am.  The thing about these types of books, is that after I read them…I put all of these new ideas into action (I don’t think I have to mention when I became a vegetarian after reading “Super Size” me, do I?)

The thing is…after a few months I turn back into the standard old me again! It doesn’t stick! Is this a.d.d.? Or…even, (shudder) s.h.d.? (self help delinquency?) Why won’t self help stick with me?!

Anyway, here’s what I’m gonna do for you…I’m going to read this book, pass along the info on how to kick ass.  You, in turn, are going to use these tools to become even more fabulous.  I, in turn, will go back to being myself in 30 days as if someone hit a reset button on my brain.  But you….you will keep rocking!

You’re welcome!
