Shooting diving is not easy. It’s so dark in most pools and the color cast makes everything look yucky, and then to try to keep focus on a moving target whipping in the air…well, my photos came out subpar! Here are some that didn’t make the cut (I was there for another student but I took these while I was waiting for him.) We also can’t use flash… BONUS!
A day trip just to get away and enjoy some peace on the water…
These trips are always interesting adventures. I meet and speak with strangers. I watch people and wonder what they’re all about. I see the landscape roll by. I stand alone and in silence to take pictures. I’d be hard pressed to come up with a more perfect day.
They’re high school ‘kids,” but my oh my are they good! I love this shot. This kid played his heart out, even got injured, got back up, shook it off and finished the game. Unbelievable. They’re making me a sports fan slowly but surely! Full gallery here.

…well it is palpable! We did a quick engagement session in Boston with the sun bursting through the sky and the snow providing a lovely backdrop for these two beauties. To say that I am thrilled to shoot the upcoming marriage of Georgiana and Jesse would be the understatement of the year! These two are beyond fabulous!
Her eyes are amazing. His smile is breathtaking. I could photograph them all day…
G and J are planning a summer wedding and I’m already having visions of the angelic Georgiana, beaming as she glides down the aisle. It will be epic! I am so humbled and so honored I will be there to capture moments.
The way they look at each other is addicting, all the while they are so natural and poised. Thank you guys for an awesome afternoon, much love and luck to you as you plan a wedding and a beautiful life together!

Road trip!
Checking in real quick today with a recent portrait session with my best friend and a phenomenally talented broadcaster! Absolutely have such a great time with him during these shoots! He needed some updated pics for his forthcoming website, so I was excited to do a number of different looks! Here are some of my favorites during our time together…
A bit of a departure for me recently. Since I am no longer a broadcast news reporter, I was a bit rusty as I wrote, shot stills and did a video for a story: a local coach who is retiring. I don’t write sports stories, but I think this turned out ok!
So, it’s been a few months since I’ve updated you all on the 33×33 Project. (For those who missed the earth shattering news, I’ve created kind of a 33 thing bucket list to accomplish by the time I’m 33)
I’ve gotten a few things done each month. Some easy, some not so easy…here’s my progress so far:

More to come! Currently I am working on 10.) Lose weight … After I ran the marathon, I didn’t run. At all. And I really haven’t been. This weather up here in the northeast is less than stellar, so I’ve had to seriously focus on food since exercising regularly is out of the question (no paved sidewalks and I’m NOT joining a gym!)
