Late last year, I received a last minute request to document an elopement. It would be under 10 people, a quick ceremony, and, a sit down dinner. No wedding party. No dancing. I must admit, if this happened pre-2020, I’d be nervous about the setup. I was accustomed to relying on large bridal parties and guest counts to bring the energy, the partying and the big moments. 200 person weddings can be easy to shoot when you’re a documentary photographer. There are always people around doing something special, you just have to look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
