I’ve documented weddings at MKJ Farm many times but each and every time I return, I notice something new and interesting to photograph. I challenge myself to approach the day with fresh eyes and try to never, ever repeat a shot. Elissa and Tony told me they didn’t want a lot of posed photographs, so there was a unique and totally documentary approach to the day! Their wedding was relaxed and the ceremony was totally personalized, thanks to the great work of officiant Tanya Keller. An added bonus was that I knew a lot of people at the wedding since I photographed the groom’s brother’s wedding (an epic event that I STILL think about!) three years ago. These two didn’t stop smiling once, and their joy radiates from the photos.
