A pretty picture in coordinated outfits at a park you’ve never hung out at together as a family is worthless to me. Everyone forcibly smiling at the camera is stressful to me.
The way your child sits in the high chair always feeding the dog? Honest. The insane joy he feels when dad comes home from work? Priceless. Weathering the highs and lows that secure emotional connection for life? The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
