Janasa & Chris: Vernon Downs Wedding

When you meet Janasa and Chris, you can’t help but believe there is a force greater than us at work. With their abundance of kindness, joy, and rock solid faith, they were destined for each other. When I work for people like this I can’t believe how lucky I am. Weddings like this are a dream…

The pro beauty team over at Hot Spot Salon in Herkimer could not be more accommodating as I hovered over their shoulders for the morning…

These little angels kicked off the ceremony…

The parent dances are always special…

…followed by a party that was amazing, thanks to Kenny the Promo Guy!

Some quick sunset shots give a totally different look to the day…

I get really excited about rain at night, I wasn’t surprised these two were up for anything! Photographer’s dream right here…

Janasa and Chris, you two are glorious. The brightness that surrounds you is apparent as soon as you walk into a room. I’m humbled and grateful I was able to document the beginning of the endless laughs you no doubt will share.

Special thanks to this all-star team who made the day incredible…

Jen & Trish: MKJ Farm Wedding

The more I photograph weddings at MKJ Farm, the more I fall in love with the rustic and relaxed setting. Couples who pick this spot always transform the blank canvas into something magical. The extensive property that surrounds the barn is magnificent, with wildflowers and gently rolling hills throughout. Jen, Trish, and their close friends filled the house with laughter during the getting ready portion of the morning, setting the tone for a joy-filled day.

These two are as beautiful as can be, I knew I would love every minute of their day. A few favorites from Jen & Trish’s wedding…

Jen and Trish quietly got ready side by side on the second floor of the main house. Downstairs, you could feel the excitement of the wedding party build.

A few romantic portraits around the property…they absolutely nailed it!

Becky & Braden: Orchard Grove Farms Wedding

It took about one minute after meeting Becky and Braden to totally fall for them. Their playful and loving style pulled me in immediately. Not surprisingly, their wedding reflected their spectacular selves, with a fun and relaxed vibe. The day was packed with great moments… from tears, to belly laughs, to an amazing party…I only wish the day didn’t go by so quickly.

These two are as thoughtful as they are beautiful. It’s rare we find two people who are so generous with their hearts, their time, and their energy on a wedding day. Their genuine warmth and love for life (and each other) translated in every single photo. We were thrilled to be a part of this unforgettable wedding!

When Becky left enough time for me to get both the formal/timeless bridal portraits AND the fun/playful ones? My heart was full!

While I’m up in front of the aisle, Peter (second shooter) follows behind the bride and her dad. I can’t get enough of his signature shot…

The barn looked perfect…

Becky and Braden, your day was exquisite in every way, I adore your love and I love you both more than I could ever adequately explain!

Family Documentary: Syracuse, NY

A pretty picture in coordinated outfits at a park you’ve never hung out at together as a family is worthless to me. Everyone forcibly smiling at the camera is stressful to me.

The way your child sits in the high chair always feeding the dog? Honest. The insane joy he feels when dad comes home from work? Priceless. Weathering the highs and lows that secure emotional connection for life? The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

Perfectly unposed.

A day in the life of a gorgeous Syracuse family…

So much love for this magnificent family!

Renee Manning - Erin,

I was wowed by your work at Adam and Meredith’s wedding, so must say these are simply amazing. Hope you enjoyed the evening as much as I am enjoying these outstanding photographs.

Happy Thanksgiving!
